IF PAN to host a research group in the NAS SEED long-term program to support Ukrainian Research Teams

The Institute of Physics has secured funding from the very highly competitive  National Academy of Sciences (USA) SEED Long term support program for displaced Ukrainian scientists for the project "Probing charge-, phonon- and spin-quanta in novel two-dimensional van der Waals semiconductors: from fundamentals to applications".

The project will be led by Principal Investigator Zakhar Kudrynskyi, currently at the University of Nottingham, and will host five researchers from Ukraine over a 3 year period starting in late 2023, with a total financing of around 2.6 million PLN.
