Data Protection Officer

The security of your personal data is very important to us, which is why we have implemented the Personal Data Security Policy related to the processing of this data.

The processing and protection of personal data is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons' data with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/ 46 / EC ("GDPR") and other provisions of generally applicable law.

The Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences makes every effort to ensure all physical, technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against their accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, change, unauthorized disclosure, use or access, in accordance with all applicable regulations.

Your rights in connection with the processing of personal data

In connection with the processing of your personal data, you are entitled to, among others: the following rights:

  • the right to access your personal data,
  • the right to rectify them,
  • the right to delete data,
  • the right to limit the processing of personal data,
  • the right to transfer data,
  • the right to object,
  • the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection if it is found that the processing of personal data violates the GDPR.

How can you exercise your rights?

We have appointed a person responsible for the protection of personal data, i.e. the Data Protection Officer, whom you can contact:

  • in writing, by sending correspondence to the address: Instytut Fizyki PAN, Al. Lotników 32/46, 02-668 Warsaw, with the note: "Inspector for the protection of personal data"

The Inspector can be contacted in all matters related to the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to this processing.
