The campus of Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences is located in the Mokotów quarter in the southern part of Warsaw, in the Służew district at Al. Lotników 32/46.

One can reach IF PAN relatively easily from many places in Warsaw using public transport: metro, train, buses and trams.

from Warsaw Chopin airport :

After leaving the airport building, take bus no. 175 or 188 along Żwirki i Wigury street to the crossroads with Sasanki street ("Sasanki" stop, approx. 5 minutes) and then walk back to the stop on the perpendicular Sasanki street going east. From here take bus no. 189 for 5 stops east (5-15 minutes depending on traffic) to the "Instytut Fizyki" stop, which is opposite the Institute.

from the Central Railway station:

Take tram number 17 or 71 heading south to Sluzewiec, which leave from a stop located west of the station on Jana Pawła Street and get off after 20-30 minutes at a stop named "Rondo Unii Europejskiej" opposite the "Galeria Mokotów" shopping centre. From there walk (approx. 5 mins) east along Wilanowska street to get to the Institute's main entrance.

from the Centrum metro station

Take metro line M1 south towards Kabaty, get off at Służew station. From there take any bus going west along Al. Lotników, and get off at the 2nd stop "Bełdan". Walk further along Al. Lotników to the Instytute (about 3 minutes). The first entrance you pass goes to the guest rooms, the 2nd is the main entrance.
