Research

Computational physics methods are used to investigate soft materials and fluids. Current research focus includes the study of topological changes in fluids (e.g. coalescence, impact, break-up), interfacial phenomena (e.g. self-sustained motion on gradient substrates), self-assembly of soft materials (e.g. polymers and liquid crystals), metamaterials, fluid dynamics and heat transfer processes, evaporation phenomena, phase transitions, and methods development in these areas.
