For high school classes, we offer:
for groups up to 60 people, lecture duration: approximately 90 minutes, a demonstration illustrating the properties of materials at low temperatures.
During the class, students will learn about what temperature is, the properties of materials at low temperatures, how the Stirling engine works, the history of the development of low-temperature physics, techniques for achieving low temperatures, the properties of solids and liquids at low temperatures such as superconductivity and superfluidity, temperature measurement, and demonstrations of how materials behave at low temperatures.
