October 2023 marks the seventieth anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and it is with great pleasure that we extend our warm invitation to you.

In celebration of this significant milestone, we are organizing a two-day conference that promises to be a remarkable event. During this gathering, we aim to reflect upon our illustrious history, proudly showcase our achievements, and engage in meaningful discussions about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Furthermore, we are eager to reunite with our esteemed colleagues, both from Poland and abroad, as well as our teachers and friends. After enduring years of pandemic-related isolation, we look forward to the joy of personal interactions and discussions in Warsaw. We cordially invite you to join us for this momentous occasion, should your schedule allow.

The conference will take place at the Institute's headquarters, located at Aleja Lotników 32/46 in Warsaw, and will be split into two main components:

1.  Scientific Symposium - Friday, October 20: A day dedicated to in-depth discussions and presentations on various scientific topics.
2.  Institute's Open Day - Saturday, October 21: A day when we open our doors to the public, providing insights into our work and research.
