The Network of Excellence XFEL Centers (CD XFEL) was established to provide substantive and organizational support to the Polish scientific community in utilizing the European XFEL as a priority research instrument essential for innovative scientific research. The network consists of unique research laboratories operating in four scientific institutions: the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (“IF PAN”), the University of Warsaw (“UW”) , Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (“UAM”), and the National Centre for Nuclear Research (“NCBJ”).
