I shall discuss the following topics:
- Equipment used for high-pressure hydrogen treatment.
- Hydrides of metals synthesized under high hydrogen pressure.
2.1. Nickel and its alloys. Palladium and “cold fusion”. Other transition metals (Mn, ZrNi5 etc).
2.2. Aluminium
2.3. Amorphous alloys
2.4. Novel hydrides from Laves type intermetallic compounds ZrFe2H4, ZrCo2H2, ReT2Hx (Re-rare earth: T – transition metal); unique YMn2H6. - Short comment about recent discovery of room temperature superconducti-vity in LuH2+xNy (?).
The talk will be presented in English.
