The aim of the seminar will be a presentation of the new research areas, technologies and materials after the reorganization of the ON2.4 group as a result of the transfer of employees from the ON4 division. In particular, two technologies will be presented: Atomic Layer Deposition and the hydrothermal method, which are mainly used for the growth of oxide nanostructures, including ZnO, Al2O3, TiO2, ZrO2, HfO2, CuO and various combinations thereof. Works focused on various types of applications will also be presented, such as electrodes based on ZnO nanostructures for photovoltaic cells, bio-functional oxide layers, nanopowders as medical markers (fluorescent for cancer diagnostics and therapy, magnetic resonance markers), CuO layers as electronic memories cells or ZnO nanorods as UV detectors.
