Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland
Center of Excellence for Low Dimensional Structures (CELDIS)

Warsaw, June 21-22, 2002

Scope, topics and participants:
The goal of the workshop is to provide instruction and exchange of ideas in the area of new diluted magnetic semiconductor and hybrid structures -- materials important for emerging field of spintronics. The main topics of the workshop will be presented by 12 invited key-speakers, the list of which is given below. We invite all scientists and students interested in this field to actively participate in the workshop.
The workshop will be organized in the Institute of Physics of Polish Academy of Sciences (Al. Lotników 32/46, 02-668 Warsaw). Participants from abroad will be accommodated in the hotel of our Institute.
The workshop language is English.
The Workshop is organized by Center of Excellence CELDIS established in the Institute of Physics of Polish Academy of Sciences by the European Commission within the 5th Framework. There is no fee charged to the participants.
The workshop is organized by Prof. Jacek Kossut and Dr. Tomasz Story:
